does anyone else ever like…. partially dissociate? like there’s a little part of you that is just not there but the rest of you is like “come back to the body, bud, we have stuff to do”

no other person on this planet was made for you, they were made for themselves. love is all about choices. no one is going to be perfect for you, and i think we need to stop raising everyone on the belief that someone out there, just one other person in the whole world, was “made for you” because it isn’t true. no one is made for you, besides you. other people belong to themselves. if you want to make it work with someone, it’s about hard work, understanding, compassion, communication, and choice

and there isn’t just “one other person” out there waiting for you. you can love multiple people over your lifetime. you can love multiple people at once. you can have more than one soulmate, or none. you can be your own soulmate.

my point is…you aren’t missing your “other half.” you are a whole person by yourself, and if you love someone, you need to understand that they are a whole person too, not your “other half.”

Suspended Spring Garden Inside German Shopping Mall Delights Visitors

London-based artist Rebecca Louise Law (previously featured here) has unassembled a spring garden and restructured it into a living and vibrant installation sculpture, hanging upside down in Berlin’s Bikini Berlin Mall. Donated by Tollwasblumenmachen, an associate of the Flower Council of Holland, 30,000 lush blooms hang from the ceiling, attached to copper wires and float above the audience heads- creating a unique space that fits into the modern architecture of the 1950s building.

People who “don’t see color” are not allowing themselves to see the whole picture… You shouldn’t pretend that race doesn’t exist when there are everyday injustices that reminds us all that it does. The water crisis in Flint, MI is highly disturbing and sad. I remember visiting there as a child and it reminded me of my parents hometown, Detroit. I’ve had this image in my head for a while because this is what I see when I read the news reports, etc. The people responsible for this crisis need to be called out and dealt with.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES TOMORROW (March 1st)

These are so crucial in our upcoming presidential election.

Candidates such as Bernie Sanders are losing by the smallest percentage due to lack of younger voter turn out.

PLEASE don’t let the older generations choose our next president. It’s OUR FUTURE to decide upon, not necessarily theirs.

Reblog to spread awareness, also tag your state and who you plan on voting for.

Thanks loves, and happy voting.

YO OK SO I JUST SAW A POST WARNING ABOUT THIS SO, AS SOMEONE WHO HAS SEEN THE MOVIE, LET ME CLEAR THIS RIGHT UP:

Things Deadpool movie had:

  • Nudity (male and female)
  • Sex
  • Dick and sex jokes
  • Awkward camera placing
  • Torture
  • MURDER and some gore
  • A mention of prior abuse

Things Deadpool movie did not have:

  • Rape jokes
  • Anti-trans jokes
  • Humor at the expense of anyone’s sexuality or gender in a negative way.
  • Sexual assault/abuse of any form (nothing explicitly shown)

Like seriously. There were sex jokes every scene but nothing bad bad. And it was also surprisingly respectful towards women considering the nature of certain scenes.

So….really. If you’re ok with the things I listed in the first category, you don’t have to worry. Deadpool was a good movie.

They were joking about being sexually assaulted when they first met at the bar.
